We were so excited to ring in 2012 with our friends the Kearns at their new home in the East Bay. They moved to a wonderful community that is very family friendly and just beautiful. Our family spent the weekend with them so we could celebrate New Years Eve and let our kiddos play together. Alex and I explored the local playground with our kids, gourmet grocery (shopping for NYE dinner) and wine bar (!).
We enjoyed good food, wine, and laughs. The kiddos loved getting into the spirit with hats and fun food. We had a triple bubble bath and put the kids down early so that adults could enjoy some gnocchi, cioppino and vino. Not surprisingly since both our families have little ones, we did not make it to midnight. Maybe next year? :)
