Sugar High!

Friday night we enjoyed the carnival at a local school - they have a ton of rides, fun houses, slides, boardwalk games and all the fair food you can imagine.  Amelia and Audrey had their first taste of cotton candy -and let me tell you - it was a big hit! Audrey was too little for the rides, but Amelia was tall enough for a few.  Daddy ended up having to slide down the giant slide with her and it was so cute.

And this was the result of the sugar high... one and a half hours after bedtime... Audrey dancing around in Amelia's room to her own music.

Swim Time!

We have been spending most afternoons up at Menlo's pool.  Amelia is trying out the swim team, so she has practice most every day of the week.

When it is very warm, Audrey and I will get suited up and we'll all spend time in the water.  I like to think it's a perfect plan - I feed the girls up at the pool, get them showered and then we head home and it's time for bed!  A great way to spend that awkward late afternoon period before bed and also to increase the girls' confidence in the water.  It is amazing what just one month has done with Amelia's swimming skills.

Crazy Busy Week

Summer is almost here and life is getting crazy!  We had a jam-packed week and I don't even have photos for it all!  Let's start off first by saying that Audrey has definitely found the best seat in the house (previously occupied by Amelia).  We have similar pictures of Amelia in this same position....

Brad had an event and I had my kick off meeting for home tour on the same night, so we got a sitter for the girls.  We called upon one of Amelia's favorites - MaryCatherine - aka "the girl with the red hair".  Amelia all tuckered out after playing with one of her favorite baby sitters!  

Amelia spent most of the evening with the sitter making her first Lite Brite creation.... she was so proud!
