Watermelon

Nothing is better than kids eating watermelon.  Such a quintessential image of warm weather and pure joy.  These girls singlehandedly ate an entire watermelon in two days.

Make Your Own Sundae!

We ended up having an early impromptu dinner out which offered a kids' make your own sundae for only $3. It was no question that the girls would get to indulge!

Amelia poured every ounce of sprinkles and M&Ms they gave to her on top of the ice cream. Audrey ended up drinking her sundae and ate the sprinkles right out of the container.  She first picked up each little Jimmie by itself so we decided that it might be a good idea to travel with a box of them to keep her occupied when necessary!

Big Girl.

This young lady is growing up too fast!  She still loves to snuggle, so I'll keep her on my lap as long as she'll stay.

Visit to San Diego

While Brad was on a golf trip, the girls and I flew down to San Diego for a few days.  It had been a while since we visited, and it was a treat to see my parents (Mimi and Papa), and Steve, Stacey, Soph and Nolan.  We had no big plans, other than to meet baby Brynn Stewart (she is a doll), spend some time at the beach, pool and enjoying the sun.  I think we achieved it all!

Nolan's not even 2 yet and he's almost as big as Amelia!

A Morning at PLAY!

Another random rainy day during Spring Break found us in search of a morning activity outside the house.  We ended up at PLAY! in Los Altos - which is a young children's play room with all the best toys you could imagine.  It was nice to let Audrey roam and explore without having to hover and constantly tell her No!  Amelia had a great time with the light tables and building houses and castles with blocks.
