For the last 8-9 months, I have been prepping for the Junior League Home Tour which was just last weekend. My fabulous mom came up from San Diego to care for the girls while I was essentially living at the Rosewood (home base for the Tour) during the event and Brad was out of town. She missed her wedding anniversary with my dad, and my niece's 5th Birthday Party. I owe her BIG TIME! Brad's mom also helped out with Audrey while my mom took Amelia on the shuttle to see all the homes.
Anyhow, part of my role on the Home Tour committee was to be a "home captain" - a liaison for one of the wonderful homeowners and the designer and the Junior League. It was so much fun but also a tremendous amount of work. I am recovering still two days later from the lack of sleep and backlog of life's to-do's. But when you check out the pictures of this home decked out for Christmas, you'll see why it was totally worth it! [Now, it is time for me to decorate for the holidays... I think I still have some pumpkins out!]
